The WW2 commemorative pin contains metal collected from each of the three branches of the Armed Forces. Aluminium comes from a Spitfire and steel has been taken from a D-Day Royal Navy landing craft. Finally, we have used a blend of metals that was originally part of the classic 1945 Army mess tin.
